Birsay Outdoor Centre offers comfortable three star accommodation in the northwest corner of the Orkney Mainland, in close proximity to spectacular and varied coastline, including dramatic cliffs and quiet beaches.  It is popular with anglers and is opposite Loch of Broadhouse.

The centre offers comfortable & affordable accommodation.  Exclusive room hire is available; the hostel welcomes singles, groups and families.

The Centre has 5 bedrooms in total. 

On the first floor are:-
"Brough Head" for 4 (2 bunkbeds)
"Oxtro" for 2  (1 bunkbed) with ensuite washbasin and shower.  Views over Brough of Birsay. 

On the ground floor are:-
"Barony" for 6 (3 bunkbeds)
"Marwick" for 12 (6 bunkbeds)
"Lower Palace" for 4 (2 bunkbeds) with ensuite washbasin and shower.

All bed linen is provided. There is access to the Hostel all day once check in is complete. Each guest has his or her own key to access the hostel.

There is a well equipped kitchen, dining area and small lounge, drying room and disabled access.

The Centre is open April to September and also out of season for group bookings, please enquire as to availabilty.
